Mystery as body of young woman found on Highland beach

A woman's body has been found on a beach in the Highlands.

Walkers made the discovery on the beach near to Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club this morning.

Detective Sergeant Bryan Ronald said the death was being treated as unexplained.

The unidentified woman was described as being in her late teens to early 30s and was wearing black Gap trousers.

Anyone who is concered for the whereabouts of a relative who matches the description is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0942 of 30 January.
