Deep cleanse

You can slick on serums and massage in moisturisers as often as you like, but if you really want to improve the condition of your skin, sometimes you need to whack on a mask for a good old cleanse. This one contains activated charcoal and volcanic ash for a DIY detox – and don’t forget to do your neck too.

Go bananas

Make like the Minions and celebrate bananas with this glossy and slightly sparkly lip conditioning balm. Its secret ingredient is lanolin, as well as shea butter, beeswax and a touch of the yellow fruit. We love the banana smoothie-ish scent, and the whipped texture (though it’s semi opaque on application, so make sure to blend).

New coat

Chanel’s new Christmas range is dedicated to their iconic 20-year-old nail varnish, Rouge Noir (that particular, almost black red). It includes this top coat, which is tinted a transparent red and contains pieces of coppery gold glitter (shake well) for an antiqued gold-leaf effect. Grown-up sparkle.
