The price has seen a significant reduction since the hotel was initially put on the market for £285,000 in 2018.

It has been owned by Proudfoot family who have now decided to retire from the hotel trade and sell it.

A Christie & Co spokesman said: “The business is centrally located within the North Highlands attracting many guests who use the hotel as a base for touring the area. In addition the hotel is located at the start of the NC 500 which is now established as a major tourist route within the Highlands.

“The hotel is the focal point at the heart of the village and has been well supported by residents of both the ever increasing population of Conon Bridge and that of the surrounding villages and towns.

“The hotel is currently closed and offers an excellent opportunity for a purchaser to re-establish the business within the village. “presents an excellent opportunity for an individual or couple to re-establish this small hotel in the village.”

Positioned at the western tip of the Cromarty Firth, the hotel offers the potential for development into a hub for visitors, with hundreds of thousands of tourists flocking to the North Coast 500 route every year.
