A timelapse video shows the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo performing in front of a replica Edinburgh Castle in New Zealand.

Currently in Wellington, the two minute long video shows the formations from the members of the Armed Forces, in Westpac Stadium.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has proven it’s a hit in New Zealand, after making history as the biggest crowd puller of any show staged in capital city Wellington.

More than 82,000 tickets had been sold for the four day event, exceeding the previous record of 78,000 tickets sold when the Tattoo was in Wellington 16 years ago.

The world-famous event is being lined up for extensive visits to both the Persian Gulf and China for the first time within the next five years.
