New Year fitness resolution? No sweat!

HEALTHY New Year’s resolutions have been abandoned by the majority of people already, according to a survey by British Military Fitness.

HEALTHY New Year’s resolutions have been abandoned by the majority of people already, according to a survey by British Military Fitness.

While more than two-thirds of people started the New Year with ambitions to join a gym more often, over a third have already quietly called up and cancelled their gym membership before they have even worked up a sweat. The figures show men are more likely to give up than women – with 59 per cent admitting they had quit their plans by February, compared to just 15 per cent of women.

Even those who make it as far as the gym do not necessarily complete a full work-out – four in five people say they want to give up after just 20 minutes of exercise.
