Scots BTCC driver Aiden Moffat enjoyed his best ever result at Donington Park last weekend.
The championship’s youngest racer at 18 years old, Moffat secured a ninth place qualifying spot in his Laser Tools Racing Mercedes A-Class, and finished the weekend’s final encounter as the top independent driver.
After a nail-biting end to the third race, which saw Aiden cross the finish line on the grass, Moffat finished in fifth place, and landed himself a trophy for his trouble.
Said Moffat: “To walk away with a trophy is massive for us. We’re a family-run team so it means so much to everyone – it’s good to reward all the lads at Laser Tools Racing with a trophy for all the hard work they’ve put in.”
