Fans of the popular TV show can now experience the grand childhood home of Rose Leslie, who played Wildling Ygritte, as it is available to rent on Airbnb.

Lickleyhead Castle, which is located in Insch Aberdeenshire, was Rose's home until she was 10 and it is an impressive stomping ground no matter what your age.

Comprising seven bedrooms that sleep up to 14 guests, the website describes the castle: "Lickleyhead Castle is a great venue for family gatherings, reunions and birthday celebrations.

"It is quiet and secluded and very private set in beautiful parkland surrounded by mature trees and lawns.

"There is a barbecue area with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining with a burn (stream) running past."

Lickleyhead Castle is also ideal for weddings, which will leave fans wondering if it could be the location of Rose's upcoming nuptials to fiancee and fellow Game of Thrones star Kit Harington.

As you can image from a castle, the bedrooms and reception areas are of a regal scale, and are described by Rose's mother on the site: "The large great hall for spending time together in front of original medieval open fireplace.

"Dining room seating is for 16 plus cosy kitchen with AGA. Seven delightful bedrooms with seven bathrooms, some tucked away in turrets.

"Cosy panelled sitting room with open fire and large flat screen TV (full Sky package including Sky Sports, internet and wifi). Lickleyhead is quirky and fun, combining modern comfort within an historical setting."

Lickelyhead was built in 1499 and is the ancestral seat of the Clan Leslie. It sits in about ten acres of grounds and has impressive original features such as a great hall, stone staircases, turrets and a large open fireplace.
