Millionaire's row: rare chance to live in Scotland's most expensive street

The Scores, in St Andrews, was named Scotland’s most expensive street by the Bank of Scotland in 2016.

It is a one-way street reached from Golf Place beside the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the famous Old Course and runs along the clifftop to the north of the town.

It is possibly the premier address in the world of golf, and there is just one remaining apartment in a development of six by Eastacre, at 30/32 The Scores.

Jamie Macnab of Savills says: “The ruins of St Andrews Castle and St Andrews Cathedral are at the end of The Scores and the views over the aquarium, out to sea and inland over the golf courses are superb.

“Numbers 30 and 32 The Scores are a pair of terraced houses built in 1898 which have a stunning setting on the clifftops above the sea.

“Eastacre have completely overhauled the fabric of both buildings and have created six luxurious apartments which are all finished to an exceptionally high standard.”

Five of the six flats sold off-plan while the property was being developed.

30A is the only unit remaining for sale and is ready for occupation.

It is a two-bedroomed, ground-floor flat with a private south-facing garden.
