Last chance to buy award-winning family home in Edinburgh

A Scottish property developer is celebrating after winning a prestigious award for the Best Family Home (for the larger family) in Scotland.

CALA Homes collected the accolade at the Property Awards for Scotland, one of the most notable dates in the construction industry’s calendar.

The housebuilder won the prize for its “Henry” style home as featured at Kinleith Mill in Currie, Edinburgh, with judges noting its brilliant use of flexible spaces and space saving ideas - such as its bespoke staircase overlooking a light-filled, double height family area.

The popular house type has played a key part in the runaway success of Kinleith Mill and there is now only one Henry house style available to buy at the development.

This latest award continues the tradition of success for CALA Homes with Kinleith Mill named the proud winner of the Best Private Development, Medium award at the prestigious Homes for Scotland Awards, earlier in the year.
