FOOD firm Eat Balanced, which hit the headlines a couple of months ago when it unveiled what it claimed was the world’s first nutritionally balanced pizza, is coming to the Capital.

The pizza, which the company says contains the correct proportions of calories, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, salts, sugar, fibre, vitamins and minerals the human body needs for a balanced meal, is now on sale at Asda supermarkets in Edinburgh after a launch at the Jewel store yesterday.

Foodies can now build their own luxury festive hamper, with more than 1500 products to choose from.

Various meat, game and poultry selected from the Hopetoun Estate in Broxburn, West Lothian, is included in the offer, with advice available from a experienced experts known as “hamper helpers”.
