Food news: Christmas fashion show is all the rage

HOTEL MISSONI, on George IV Bridge, is inviting guests into a world of festive glamour with an exclusive fashion show and preview of its Christmas Afternoon Tea next Sunday from 3-5pm.

Guest will enjoy an exclusive preview of fashion brand Kakao by K’s Christmas collection before sampling a selection of seasonal treats.

• Hopetoun Farm Shop is inviting budding chefs to a foodie masterclass designed to help take the stress out of hosting a Christmas party. Food critic Wendy Barrie will host the event on Thursday, offering recipes that bring the family together.
