Duke’s only opened their doors in February, offering a range of wings, craft beers and cocktails just weeks before the first lockdown kicked in.
But despite the Gods of Hospitality conspiring against them, the Leith-baed street food specialists have decided offer up some favourites from the menu at their Duke Street bar to the world.
As well as their chicken wings, strips and calamari coming in at £6 and cauli wings £5.50, they are touting Duke’s Dirty Fries - a shirt-splattering slider of fries topped with a dirty sauce comprising streaky bacon, honey and stout, also for £6.
Available for delivery or collection, all meals come with a selection from 17 sauces from sticky soy and sesame and Korean BBQ to Chimichurri and Jamaican Jerk, at 75p per portion.
And your order can be washed down with a selection of 16 craft beers and ciders by the can from £4 per can to four-pint pitchers, starting at £16.
From the cocktail menu a two litre pitcher of Pimm’s will set you back £16 and bottles of wine kick in from £18. All orders over £20 qualify for a 20% off reduction.
Opening times (for the moment) are Tues - Thurs 4.30pm to 10pm, Fri & Sat - 12pm to 12am Sunday - 2pm to 10pm.
