Just dessert for creative Scots chef

A SCOTTISH chef is enjoying the sweet taste of success after winning the TV competition Britain’s Best Dish with a chocolate cake dessert.

Chris O’Halloran’s entry came with cinnamon ice-cream, rich chocolate sauce and cookies.

“Being asked to take part in the competition and work along some of the best chefs in the industry has been one of the most challenging, yet fantastic experiences I’ve ever had.”

Garry Marsden, chairman of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms Destination Management Organisation, said: “Chris is a truly outstanding chef, and his specially-created dish has certainly flown the flag for Scotland. His talent, experience and creative flair earned him this well-deserved title”
