Game of Thrones season six teaser trailer unveiled
The first trailer for the hotly-anticipated sixth season of Game of Thrones was released today. Fans can hear the voice of the Three-Eyed Raven played by the legendary Max von Sydow narrating the short clip. The 40-second trailer also confirms the show’s return for April 2016.
Forth Road Bridge to close until New Year
Footage of an eerily quiet Forth Road Bridge has been popular across Facebook and Twitter after engineers discovered problems with metalwork towards the northern end of the bridge and closed it for repairs. Commuters on Scotland’s east coast face arduous journeys as engineers announced the bridge would be closed until at least the New Year.
Gary Neville unveiled as Valencia CF’s manager
Former England and Manchester United defender Gary Neville was installed as Valencia’s new manager yesterday – his first job in club management.
Neville will team up with his brother Phil, who continues his role as one of the coaches of the Spanish club. The former Sky Sports pundit will manage the club until the end of this year’s campaign in six months’ time.
