Newsreader Kendall dies aged 88

FORMER BBC newsreader Kenneth Kendall has died at the age of 88.

The presenter, also known to many for his role in Channel 4’s Treasure Hunt, died in hospital on the Isle of Wight yesterday.

His partner of many years, Mark Fear, said he passed away peacefully. The couple ran an art gallery on the island after Kendall retired from television.
