THIS year’s World Ballet Day will see footage of the Scottish Ballet broadcast on a dedicated website for the first time.
23 hours of footage from five of the world’s leading ballet companies will be streamed live to celebrate World Ballet Day on October 1st.
A portion of the segment on www.worldballetday.com will be dedicated to showcasing dance talent from across the UK including Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Northern Ballet and Scottish Ballet who will each stream 15 minutes of live and pre-recorded content.
Scottish Ballet will be broadcasting a behind-the-scenes look at the new production of Swan Lake by award-winning choreographer David Dawson.

Exclusive backstage footage will stream for five hours from 11.00am.
