The Labour party waged into the Scottish independence debate by saying that they would offer more powers to the Scottish Parliament, even after the event of a No vote.

Ed Miliband attempts to appeal to floating Labour voters who are beginning to side with the SNP. The Labour leader said that a new Scotland Act with futher devolved powers would be created if Labour were to gain power at the next election. However this proposal is still based around many if’s and but’s, its unclear whether this will be enough to convince those being swayed by Alex Salmond’s SNP agenda.

Labour vows to expand Scottish Parliament powers
