FANCY a trip away with a difference? Scotland’s islands are home to a packed calendar of festivals this summer with events to suit all tastes and interests.

For music fans, there’s festivals on Arran, Gigha, Mull and Tiree to name but a few while the islands’ traditional Highland Games remain a strong pull for visitors.

A growing interest in running has seen a growth in festivals with Scotland’s islands, home to some of the world’s most spectacular scenery, now staging a number of long distance events.

A number of unique festivals are also being staged this year including Loch Fyne Viking Festival, Colonsay Rugby Festival and the Coll of the Sharks Festival.

We’ve team up with island ferry operator CalMac to offer the chance to win a CalMac ticket for two adults and a car on any return route.

To enter all you have to do is post a picture of yourself at any island festival in June on Twitter with the hashtag #calmacfestival.

The competition will close on June 30.
