Flash looking to make a splash at Knockhill

Knockhill Racing Circuit is gearing itselef up for another weekend of spectacular on-track action as the British Touring Car Championship returns to Fife.

Up to 15,000 motorsport fans are expected to turn out to see Scotland’s very own ‘Flash’ Gordon Shedden take on the rest of the BTCC pack on the narrow twists and turns of Knockhill.

Reigning BTCC champion Shedden will be looking to extract maximum results from his home race. Currently sitting fourth in the championship table every point counts if he is to realise his dream of securing a third BTCC title.

Lining up against Shedden in his Halfords Yuasa Honda Civic Type R are championship rivals Matt Neal, Sam Tordoff and Rob Collard - all out to grab a piece of the glory.

Alongside the main event of the BTCC races are a host of support events.

Porsche, Ginetta sports cars and MSA Formula Championship single seaters will add more spectacle to the action packed weekend.
