Chevrolet Centenary

HI, I’m American singer Pat Boone. You may not have heard of me, but I was kind of a big deal in the 1950s and 60s, which is why I was able to afford this fetching Chevrolet Corvette. Ain’t she a beauty? Heck, I loved that car so much I even hosted a American TV variety show themed around a Chevy showroom. Crazy days.

Anyway, I’ve just travelled more than half a century forward in time to tell you that yesterday marked the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet. Ain’t that something?

Good to see they’re still making the Corvette although, at my age, I should perhaps consider the 1.0-liter – sorry, litre – Spark. Just £7,375. That sounds like sweet music to me.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go... I’ve got a career to resurrect.
