A blast from the past for bike fans

Up to 100 immaculate bikes from the 1970s, 80s and 90s are expected for Knockhill’s first Rewind Festival this Sunday.

Rather than bands playing their hits of the 70s-90s, Knockhill will be rocking to the noise of these classics and a number will also be taking to the track to turn back the clock, at full flight, during two 15-minute track sessions.

Owners will be taking a trip down memory lane as a gaggle of these iconic machines tackle the famous twists and dips of the Knockhill Circuit.

Models from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Norton, Kennymoto, Triumph and BMW will be on display in the main paddock, sitting alongside their modern-day counterparts that will be raced on track as part of a 31-race weekend-long programme.

The weekend’s event also features the finale to the 2015 Scottish Bike racing championships and the annual Jock Taylor sidecar trophy race with many championships expected to go down to the wire.

Admission is £13 for adults, juveniles £8 and under 12s are free of charge.
