Money Dashboard

This app has been around for a while but a new version has just been launched and the improvements are vast. The app allows you to import all your bank accounts into one place. You can then track your spending across all accounts, displayed in a handy pie chart that lets you see where the majority of your outgoings have been spent (ie. on transports, clothes, household and so on). It shows a combined overall balance of how much money you have in your life, and a comparative figure for the previous month. Made by an Edinburgh start up, this is one of the best finance apps out there.

Lucky Trip

Lucky Trip, a holiday app, invites you to “find your next adventure.” Once you set your location and budget, app offers a host of trip ideas all with travel, accommodation and activities suggestions. Incredibly user friendly and aesthetically pleasing, Lucky Trip is an essential travel companion.

Something like Tinder meets Rightmove, Knocker allows you to check out the cost of nearby properties by locking into the location services on your phone. Property cards are offered up, and the user can either swipe left or save any that takes their fancy. Filters allow you to choose between renting, buying and location (but, strangely, there’s no way to sort by budget). it’s a flaw they may and should fix soon, but it remains handy.
