The long-evolved quartet's first recording with 'new' member Ali Hutton – on pipes, whistles and guitar – returns the band to the now common soundscape of up-tempo percussion-driven dance tunes, alternating with songs culled from the tradition (or written by Davy Steele and Andy M Stewart).

The latter's poignant Where Are You Now, with its lazy slide guitar, is probably the winning song, while elsewhere the album full of rich acoustic/electric instrumental texture, from the measured opening air of a St Kilda love song to the closing contemporary joust with some Desperate Fishwives.
