SPRINTER Usain Bolt is aiming to do something special at the London 2012 Olympics.
The fastest man in the world said in an interview: “I want to do wild things at this Olympics – that’s my focus. I want, at the end of the Games, for people to sit down and say, ‘Did that really happen?’.”
Nothing has yet been confirmed but Bolt, 25, wants to at least defend his Olympic titles in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m – all of which are events where he also holds the world record.
Of the British talent set to compete at London 2012, Bolt picks Mo Farah – the world 5,000m champion and 10,000m silver medallist – as his hot tip. “I would have to say Mo Farah, based on what he did in 2011. He did great in the World Championships in Daegu.
“The long-distance races are extremely competitive and he won against some of the best Kenyans and Ethiopians.”
