Korean stunt and acrobatic dance troupe Park Gol Box promise to bring a little extra colour to the Fringe stage.
If the above performance is anything to go by, their show ‘Death City’ will have you delving deep into the sui generis of human personality, societies governed by colour and offer up a full palette of emotion through dance and choreographed martial arts and dance.
Dressed all in white for this exclusive Scotsman performance in a sun-soaked Princes Street Gardens, audio shots fired at Park Gol Box drenched them in colour as their story unfurls.
Dozens of passers-by stopped to watch the show as the group, far from home, started out controlled and ended on an explosive finale, all of which you can watch in the performance above, choreographed exclusively for The Scotsman.
With so many household names at this year’s Fringe, it’s easy to overlook the lesser-known performers who have travelled long distances and practiced tirelessly to make your day a little brighter.
If this sounds like you, Park Gol Box’s ‘Death City’ could be all it takes to change your mind.
Catch Park Gol Box performing ‘Death City’ at Greenside @ Nicholson Square (Venue 209) until August 26th (not 16th).
