Olivier Ntcham’s proposed move from Celtic to Marseille hit a snag on transfer deadline day after it was revealed the plane taking the midfielder to his homeland couldn’t take off.

Get French Football News report the 24-year-old will not arrive in France before the window slams shut later on this evening.

However, they also report that the deal will be completed in time at a distance and the player will travel to join the Ligue 1 club tomorrow.

The move is an initial loan with option to buy.
