Charles and Camilla, Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, arrived in the Capital earlier this week to tour businesses and services and meet people across the city.

Camilla was met by 100 children at Towerbank Primary, holding a 20ft banner prepared in her honour, and cheers as she visited the Portobello Sailing and Kayaking club.

Meanwhile Charles visited Forthview Primary School in an effort to encourage girls to become engineers and scientists, as part of an initiative for the National Women in
Engineering Day.

The Capital is, of course, no stranger to a regal presence, having had numerous royal visits in the past.
