Tale of the plea for storytellers

Bupa is appealing for people across Edinburgh who can spin a good yarn to join in its plans to mark National Storytelling Week.

Three care homes will be hosting special community storytelling events in January and are appealing for storytellers to bring tales and fables to life.

Celebrated each year, National Storytelling Week runs from January 28 to February 4, and aims to increase awareness of the value of sharing stories.

This is the second year Bupa will be marking the week.
