Prescription drugs seized

PRESCRIPTION drugs with Polish instructions have been found for sale in a shop in the west of Edinburgh, health chiefs have revealed.

Police informed NHS Lothian about the seizure of a range of prescription only drugs.

Those include augmentin and biseptol, neither of which should be taken unless prescribed by a health professional.

Dr Graham Mackenzie, public health consultant, said: “If you have bought any drugs which fit this description, it is important that you do not use them and you should return them to your local pharmacy.”
