Nuffield nets fitness chain

HEALTHCARE charity Nuffield Health has announced the acquisition of Greens Health & Fitness, a chain of 15 fitness centres from De Vere Group.

Nuffield said the new centres, including the one on New Mart Road in Edinburgh, took it one step closer to its ambition of ensuring a larger proportion of the UK population are able to benefit from its approach to fitness and wellbeing.

Group chief executive of Nuffield Health, David Mobbs, said: “The acquisition of Greens Health & Fitness is an important step towards achieving Nuffield Health’s strategic ambition of a national network of fitness and wellbeing facilities, supporting more members to get fitter and healthier.”
