This news comes on the back of Prime Minister Boris Johnson being admitted to intensive care after his COVID-19 symptoms worsened.

Mr Gove appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain this morning to discuss the PM’s health, though made no mention of his own self isolation.

He stated: “We're all having to adjust in working in different ways... the work of government goes on"
