The NHS Shetland staff have made a musical thank you to their community after they received homemade scrubs.

The Shetland health care staff found themselves low on stock during the pandemic as the rules about infection control increased.

The community rallied, and new scrubs were made from a variety of material including bed sheets.

The staff have now released a fun video of them strutting their stuff in their new scrubs to the Right Said Fred hit I’m Too Sexy.

The uplifting video ends with the message: “A big thank you to Right Said Fred for creating our own scrubs catwalk song, our amazing community of sewers for their hard work and any donations of material to make the scrubs and of course all our incredible NHS workers and all other front line workers for everything you are doing.”

Shetland has reported 51 positive cases of coronavirus as of April 23.
