There have been a growing number of wildlife sightings in Edinburgh since the start of the lockdown, with deer among the most commonly spotted animals.

Three were spotted on the hill off Mayfield Road close to the Edinburgh University's King's Buildings campus at the beginning of the month.

It is understood the animals had made their way from Blackford Hill.

Otters have also been seen swimming in Water of Leith since the coronavirus lockdown.
