Coronavirus Scotland: No new deaths reported in Saturday's Scottish Government update

The Scottish Government announced the latest Covid-19 figures on Saturday afternoon

No further deaths from Covid-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Scottish Government.

The total hospital death toll in Scotland remains at 2,488.

The number of positive cases across the country has risen to 18,287 – an increase of 11 from Friday’s figures.

A total of 429 people are currently being treated for confirmed or suspected Covid-19 in hospital - 19 of which are in intensive care.

The latest figures were announced by the Scottish Government at 2pm on Saturday.
