Coronavirus in Scotland: 28 more deaths recorded as 999 new cases are confirmed in last 24 hours
Of the new cases 378 were in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board area, with 207 in NHS Lanarkshire, 107 were in Ayrshire and Arran and 128 new cases recorded in NHS Lothian.
Ms Sturgeon also said that 1254 people were in hospital with the virus, an increase of 29 from the figure reported yesterday.

Hide Ad92 people are in intensive care with the virus, that is one less than yesterday.
In total, 2877 people have died of coronavirus in Scotland.
Since the start of the pandemic, 67,011 people have tested positive for coronavirus across the country.
