Coronavirus in Scotland: 24 further deaths brings Scottish Government total to 2,245

Twenty four people in Scotland have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Scottish Government.

14,969 people have now tested positive for Covid-19, an increase of 113 from yesterday, Nicola Sturgeon said.

The First Minister said 1,257 patients are in hospital with a suspected or confirmed case (down 61), with 50 being treated in intensive care (down one).

3,508 people have been discharged from hospital after receiving treatment for Covid-19 since 5 March.
