Aberdeen’s oldest hospital to close its doors

Aberdeen’s oldest hospital will close at the end of the year to help reduce NHS Grampian’s £157 million repair bill backlog.

Woolmanhill Hospital was the original Aberdeen Royal Infirmary when it opened its doors to patients in 1749. The hospital continues to house several out-patient departments.
