The SPFL fixtures for the final five post-split fixtures of the season has pitched Brian Rice’s side – currently bottom of the league table – against second-bottom Kilmarnock in a match which could prove pivotal to the top flight’s drop fight on Sunday, May 16.

The sides are currently separated by just one point with Ross County one point further ahead in tenth – and John Hughes’ side provide the Accies’ opposition in Dingwall on the penultimate fixture of the campaign.

It will be a critical time for all clubs at the bottom of the league and County – currently two points off the basement – are at Motherwell on the final day of the season while their nearest relegation rivals square off at the FOY Stadium in Lanarkshire.

The other key meeting at the bottom looks to come early in the fixture release with the Staggies heading to Kilmarnock on April 10.

The final games off the league season all kick off at 12pm lunchtime.

After missing out on a top six place on goal difference, St Mirren are safe and kick off their final five at Motherwell who are aiming to avoid being drawn into the mix ahead of their key clash with County near the end of the season.

There’s also the small matter of a Lanarkshire derby in the mix, on Wednesday April 21 at 7.45pm at Hamilton’s FOY Stadium.

Sky Sports have, so far, only selected two games for live broadcast – Rangers v Celtic and Rangers v Aberdeen.
