Robinson departed Fir Park on New Year’s Eve after a run of eight games without a win in the league.

"Obviously Kilmarnock is available but it’s not for me at this moment in time,” he told Sky Sports.

"A good club, good candidates involved. You start looking again but at the moment I’m enjoying the rest.”

Former Kilmarnock ace Kris Boyd reckons former St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright is the ideal candidate.

“I think he is a good fit for the football club,” he said.

"Kilmarnock need to get someone in who has experience. Tommy Wright, he galvanised St Johnstone and he is going to have to do the same at Kilmarnock.”
