University students vote in president

A NEW president and three new vice-presidents have taken up office at Edinburgh University Students' Association.

The elections saw the highest turnout in student union election history, with more than 7,300 votes cast.

The new president is Liz Rawlings and is joined by vice-presidents Stevie Wise, Amy Woodgate and Sam Hansford. Ms Rawlings said: "It's a privilege to be able to represent students."
