Top marks for school’s staff

INSPECTORS have praised teachers at a city primary school for developing “confident, polite” pupils.

Education Scotland said education standards had improved significantly at Tollcross Primary School and its nursery classes. The report said staff had gained confidence through continuing professional development.

“Pupils were confident, polite and talked enthusiastically about their experiences at school,” the report said.
