Students say Dundee University is best

STUDENTS have voted Dundee University the best place to study in the UK.

The university came out top of the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, which polled 14,000 undergraduates at 105 institutions.

The university scored well on its accommodation, facilities, students’ union and the quality of its lectures.

Pete Downes, the university’s principal and vice-chancellor, said: “There is nothing more important to a university than the quality of the experience enjoyed by the students who attend it, so to come out top in the UK in a major survey like this is very encouraging.

“It is a credit to all staff across the institution and also to the Students’ Association, with whom we work very hard.”
