Elisa Geremias-Lorenzo was last seen at lunchtime on Wednesday leaving Morgan Academy in Dundee.

A friend told police that Elisa got on a number 17 bus outside Tera Nova Medical Centre in Dura Street just after 1pm, apparently heading to the Menzieshill area of the city. She has not been seen since then.

The 14-year-old is around 5ft 4in with long blonde hair and fair skin. When last seen she was wearing a navy parka coat, a white blouse, Morgan Academy tie and black trousers. She also had a pink Nike drawstring bag with her.

Police initially appealed for information on Elisa yesterday and said “significant inquiries” had been carried out since then but no trace has been found.

There is nothing to suggest she has been the victim of a crime, but officers said she is “very vulnerable”.

A police spokesman said: “Officers in Dundee advise they have significant concern for Elisa Lorenzo who resides in the Stobswell area of the city and was reported as missing on March 18.

“Elisa left her home at 8.30am on Wednesday March 18 to attend at Morgan Academy but has not been seen by her family since that time.

“It has been clarified that she attended school during the morning of the 18th but left after lunch with a friend who advises that Elisa got on to the No 17 bus outside Tera Nova Medical Centre, apparently heading to the Menzieshill area.

“Elisa has not been seen since that time.

“Anyone with information which would assist in tracing Elisa is requested to call 101 or speak to any officer.”
