Open day at Portobello High as new campus nears completion

Portobello High School will hold two open days next week as staff and pupils prepare to move to a brand new campus.

The sessions will take place on Friday, June 3, from 1-4pm, and Saturday, June 4, from 10am-4pm.

Education bosses are building a replacement site for the school, which counts champion boxer Kenny Anderson, pictured, among its former pupils.

Families and interested community members are invited to have a look around the school’s current site on Duddingston Road and share memories before pupils and their teachers transfer to the new building in Portobello Park.
