New head at high school

The James Young High School in Livingston, has appointed Catrina Hatch as its new headteacher.

Formerly a business education and guidance teacher, she was most recently depute headteacher at St Modan’s High School in Stirling.

Ms Hatch replaces Chris Horne, who retired in June. She said: “I feel extremely honoured to have been appointed as headteacher of The James Young High School. I know it is a highly respected school.”
