The Ibrox side were officially crowned champions after rivals Celtic failed to defeat Dundee United on Sunday afternoon, drawing 0-0 at Tannadice.

It’s title number 55 for Rangers, who finish top of the pile for the first time in ten years, and represents the completion of a comeback which started with the four-year odyssey in the lower leagues.

McIntyre praised his team for their fighting spirit as he paid tribute to them on Twitter. He wrote: “We share a story of ups and downs, working harder than anyone else to get back on the path to championship glory. Congratulations to @RangersFC, winners of the Scottish Premiership. This custom @WWE Championship is YOURS!!! #RangersFC.”

The special WWE belt featured the club badge on each side with “Scottish Premiership 2020/21 champions” written around it.
