Tasty tie–up: Fintry farmer sells yoghurt to Waitrose

A STIRLINGSHIRE family has secured a deal to supply supermarket chain Waitrose with a range of yoghurts.

Katy Rodgers and her daughters, Helena and Catherine, have been making yoghurt on the family’s farm in Fintry since 2009 and the products will be on sale at all four Waitrose branches in Scotland from Monday. They will also feature in the chain’s Stirling branch, which is due to open next year.

Rodgers said: “Waitrose is the first supermarket we’ve ever supplied, so this is a very exciting time. We’re small, home-made and independent, which makes me think we’re a perfect match.”

More than 400 Scottish product lines are stocked by the supermarket, which is part of the John Lewis group.
