The UK-wide listing with Asda will now see the “iconic” flavour stocked in 226 stores.

Managing director George Taylor said: “We are very proud of our unique Scottish flavours, which receive fantastic feedback from all around the world.”

Susanna Hassard, Asda’s regional grocery and produce buyer, said: “It’s clear there is an appetite for the taste of Scotland across the Border.”
