Farming: Cameron to head up congress
Former National Farmers Union of Scotland president John Cameron has been named as president of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists congress, which will be held in the north-east of Scotland in September 2014.
The visitors will come from more than 30 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa, the Ukraine and the United States, in addition to delegates from more than half the member states of the European Union.

Hide AdThe annual congress, which rotates around its membership, last came to Scotland in 1981, when it was held in Renfrewshire. Under the theme Innovations from a Small Country, the congress will include visits to many of the main food producers and processors, including the ANM co-operative and the Mackie ice cream and potato crisp empire, in the North-east.
