Ex-Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell reckons the Gunners’ one-time target Odsonne Edouard will leave at the end of the season. The Frenchman has recently changed agencies, reportedly with a view to a transfer. Campbell said: “I think his ship has sailed at Celtic, at the end of the season at least. It is the end of a great era but I think it is time for him to move onto pastures new.” (Football Insider)

A new Champions League format could be in the offing. Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed Uefa were working on making the competition more exciting with the group stages called “boring”. Inverness CT boss John Robertson has revealed he has felt “really low” on a number of occasions since March and that he has struggled with his mental health. The Hearts legend admitted there has been so much to deal with and he’s not seen his children for nearly a year. (Various)

Rangers have rejected speculation that they were eyeing a move for Coventry City star Gustavo Hamer. The midfielder has impressed for the Sky Blues since a £1.2million switch from Dutch side PEC Zwolle. Rangers have yet to decide if they will follow Celtic and furlough their U18s. The Parkhead side informed players they were being placed on the scheme as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic continues to be felt. A number of clubs are expected to do similar. (Scottish Sun)

Hibs are set to complete the signing of Chris Cadden today (Friday). There has been a hold up in his announcement due to negotiations with the player’s club in MLS Columbus Crew. With some details to be signed off it should be concluded before the weekend. (Evening News)

St Mirren boss Jim Goodwin reckons if there was a competition for which team has been hardest hit by coronavirus then the Buddies would win it. He was responding to claims made by Celtic chief Peter Lawwell who said the Glasgow giants were the hardest hit. (Daily Record)
